windows xp media no disk will run in dvd/cd drive ?

  I cant get my disk to run i ran the chkdsk and it says warning running in
read only mode could that have anything to do with why i cant get any disk to
run  you can here it start but then it stops right away i even went and
bought a new one because i thought there might be some thing wrong but the
new one does the same thing . I have been strugling with this for days and
just cant figure it out i think its something simple i just cant think of
anything else to try could someone please help

 We heard you the first time, you don't need to repost the same question
twice in 2 days, when someone has an answer they will reply. Also, your
question is not related to Windows Media Center, which is the topic of
discussion of this group, you should repost to a more appropriate group such
