I have vista home premium and a tv tuner card that IS supported. I started
vista tongiht and got a failure downloading program guide data. I went
through the process manually but it's taking HOURS do download the guide data
where it normally takes minutes.

I tested my interment speed both up and down and it's fine.
Can someone tell me what's going on? Microsoft wants 59 bucks to tell me
what's wrong with THEIR product. Unbelievable. I should pay them for their
bug?

Please help me if you can. It's up to 23% now but this is ridiculous. It
should never be this slow.

I had a similar issue on a clean installation tonight. Be patient. There
may be server/connectivity issues on the Guide end.

I saw a guide failure to download message last night for the first
time ever.. I was watching a previously recorded show at the time.
