I record movies in MCE 2005 but the subtitles do not show up when
playing back in wmp10. Even though I have selected that option, to show
subtitles when they exist
If I play back on MCE, the subtitles show but I have no control over
forward or reverse; the buttons only seem to work on live tv. Is this
true for others? Or is this something I can fix? The reason I preferred
to use wmp for playback is it used to offer forward/reverse/reposition
control through the slider bar, but now that doesn't work any more.
How do I control forward and reverse when in playback mode, on mce or
wmp?

This is on recorded TV playback.
I know I used to have this.
Wonder what I haven't re-installed.
TIA.

me too. Maybe the update caused it. Who knows what was in the update?
Maybe it's a DRM issue. Maybe we must watch the commercials or
Microsoft will be sued by advertisers, so they eliminated the control
from MCE and WMP. Who knows? How do you undo an update?
