I receive a "blue screen" windows logon terminated unexpectedly with status of
0x0000135 (0x00000000 0x00000000).
It started after installing Kaspersky Internet Security 2009. it gave lots
of red flag
trojans on really strange stuff. i.e. System 32 and alike. I sutpidly
clicked through it until it unexpectedly shut down. Then blue screen ever
after.
Windows XP Media edition
Dell inspirion e1505 Oct 2006 vintage

Can you press F8 when booting and get into Safe Mode? If so, go into the
Event Viewer and see if there are any errors listed for that timeframe.
You might want to install the latest video drivers while in safe mode -
it seems they're the cause of most blue screens. You might also try
uninstalling Kaspersky in safe mode and see if that helps.

re-install start up Dell disk(s)? Any help anyone? .....
There is nothing too important of the laptop (Personal Data) that the loss

See if you can boot to the Safe Mode command prompt. If you can, System
Restore can be excuted with:
%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe.

No matter what I try, the same blue screen:
STOP: c000021a FATAL SYSTEM ERROR
The Windows Logon Process System Terminated Unexpectly
with status of 0xc0000135 (0x00000000 0x00000000)
The System Has Been Shut Down
Is there a way I can completely delete the hard drive and reload the start up
disks? Without going intp Windows?
