Hey all,

I am new to doing this, so bear with me.

I had synced up the MP3 previously, moved all my music there. Then I
changed, or thought I changed some tunes around - deleted some, added some -
but then when I next turned it on, it said No File !

Okay, somehow, I apparently deleted them all ? I didn't think so as I saw
them all in the Right Pane, under the listed Device.

Now when I hook it up again to take a look, I don't see my music list in
the right pane, rather, I see a + sign & a lot of apparently, Chinese words!
So I clicked on the + sign & see a lot of + signs, where my music was
yesterday & more Chinese writing. So I shut down WMP10, disconnected the MP3
& started over & again, I see the list of + signs & Chinese writing !

NoW WhAt ?!?!

Thanks very much !

Repost to windows.mediaplayer, this group is for discussion of Windows Media
Center, two different things.

What mp3 player is it?
Are the files missing from your computer or the mp3 player?
Perhaps you should transfer files to your player using some other
software.
Do you read Chinese?

Good luck

Douglas, thanks very much. I was able to rid the Chinese writing, I then
deleted the songs I did have in the MP3, deciding to start over.

Here's where I'm now at; I seletced the songs I wanted to Sync up to tje
MP3, a GPX 2 gb mw3347blk, & it did transfer some but it still says I have
860 MB's of free space left.

Also, I get this error message:""Windows Media Player encountered an
unknown error. This can occur when another program or operating system
component encounters a problem but does not communicate the nature of the
problem to the Player." Seems vague, at best!

Funny, as I had originally had all the space used up, then I tried to
delete just a few & somehow, I messed it all up.

Oh & yes, the files are on the PC, they just won't transfer over to the MP3

Thanks again !
