Recovery System Utility

Hi guys;

I have an HP m1264n XP Professional Media Center Edition 2005. Some times
when I turn it on the System Recovery Utility starts by it self. I don't
press the F10 key to start the utility.

I am thinking to remove the Recovery Partition after run a Destructive
Recovery option. I have my set of recovery this already.

Is this a good option to take to resolve the problem??
