Problem switching users - password requested

  I have 4 accounts set up in XP but none of them have a password set up.  When
I try to switch users I am now being asked for a password no matter which
user I try to switch to.
Can anyone help?

 Start>Run>Type in:- "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes)>OK

Uncheck the box requiring a username and password, click apply/ok and
follow the prompts to set up a default logon.
