  I have a Dell 4600 running MC 2002 and MC states that the disk is full. I
have over 20 GB left on the drive and nothing recorded

 @discussions.microsoft.com says...

I think MCE has a setting to reserve a certain amount of disk space for
recording. I assume that when that space is used up, it will report the
error you're seeing (although I have never hit the limit myself). Check
the settings for something like this. You may need to increase the
reserved portion to use the remaining space on your drive.

  That's correct, there is a recording setting that tells how much of the disk
to use for TV. MCE doesn't automatically assume to use all the drive space
for recording. Unfortunately, I'm at work so I can't tell you the exact set
of menus to get to the recording, but it's in the "Setting" menu choice,
just hunt around.

 Is all of the space dedicated to "Recorded TV"? There is a sperate setting
in MCE as to how much of the free space is for recording.
