Media Center xp 2005 Code Error: 3

  I just set up a wireless router to hook up to the xbox 360 and sync to my pc
and it keeps telling me that messenger is not installed (which it is) and my
xbox is not connecting to the Media center, but is connected to the network,
anyone have the same problem or know how to fix it?
