Media Center won't allow Setup after System REcovery

  I recently performed a System Recovery with Disks supplied by HP on an HP
M7260N MCE 2005 XP SP3 that now has .net Framework 1.1 and 2.0 Serv Pak 1.0
installed.
An error box showed on the screen which apparently has the Comp telling me
there is no tuner installed (one I've been using for the last 2 years and
worked as  recently as 10 days ago --before the recovery).

A  "Media Center Receiver Service (error) Box pops up all the time. Details
