Media Center start up page / popping up during movie

  Just purchased a HP media center with Windows media center.  Starting to get
a good handle on all functions ... But I can not watch a full movie or TV
show with-out the window XP media center start- up page popping up during the
movie or TV program ... I then have to go back and cklick on DVD or live TV
button ... about every 10 minutes...  how can I get this to stop popping up
... driving me crazy

  Do you have any flurescent lights/blubs in the room? I had the same problem,
and I tracked it own to one of the bulbs causing the remote reciever to
continuing be recieving 'junk'...
