Live Messenger compatible with Vista Windows Media Center?

  Does anyone know how you can receive IMs while watching full screen TV in
Windows Media Center in Windows Vista?  I'm running Live Messenger 8.0 and I
cannot receive IMs while watching full screen TV.  They pop up and wait
behind the Media Center window and I discover them after I close or resize
Media Center.

I think I remember with my Windows MCE 2005 that I had to run Windows
Messenger in order for media center IMs to work properly.

Any info would be appreciated.

 Out of the box. Vista's Media Center has no Messenger capabilities. Windows
live Messenger will not give  you this functionality within Media center.

 You will have to wait until a plugin is developed by somebody.
