  I have a new linksys extender that never connect to the Media Center PC, it
shows me error 00010002 with text explaining that the Media Center PC has
either shutdown, is in standby or in hibernation, but the computer is ON. On
the media center pc the following event are logs.

Event Source:    Media Center Remote Manager
Event Category:    None
Event ID:    8

Description:
Unauthorized window was detect while running the Media Center Experience,

Computer:    HMW-RM
Description:
Remote Media Center session was logged off because system validation failed

 any one of a number of programs could cause this - mcafee, symantec
programs, anything that loads at startup. are you running either of
these ? typically the fix is to uninstall the offending program. if
you aren't runnng one of these, please post what programs are in your
startup group/load when windows starts.

 are you joined to a domain? extenders require fast user switching
which is not available when you are in a domain. if you are in a
workgroup, i'd start by uninstalling Symantec and see if the problem
clears.

 No, the computer is in Workgroup; the Media Extender setup report all OK,
fast user switching,..etc
