I just upgraded to Vista Ultimate and found that I needed to upgrade my
printer and scanner.. Not that big of a deal.. but I am having a hard time
getting my AVC-3610 USB Dual Tuner to work.. it shows up in the device
manager with not errors but when I go the set up MCE it says that it cannot
find the tuner.. I would have thought that if  it shows up in the device
manager that it would work... Guess I was wrong...  has anyone had  any luck
getting it working or will it not work at all...
HP was no help at all.. after waiting for the release, hp says it will not
be making vista drivers for a lot of the older ( more that 6mths  to a year
old) equipment...
 THANKS HP...

Did it run in MCE2005 before you upgraded?
Lots of tuners will run in Xindows XP or run in VISTA that will not run in
MCE2005 or in Vista MC since they do not have MPEG2 encoding on the tuner
card or is some rare cases built into MCE compatible BDA drivers. They will,
however, run it other PC TV application programs.

Yes it ran great in MCE2005 not any problem there.. the strange this is that
it shows the drivers being loaded in the device manager and working
properly.. is there some other component to this install that I'm missing..
I've got Vista MCE and the drivers loaded and vista has the latest update but
it will not recognise that there is a tuner present...  btw this is a clean
install  of Vista Ultimate ,it was not an upgrade from XP MCE2005.. I'd
really like to get this working..

Thanks,

Jeff
