  Hiya,
I've got Vista Home Premium running SP1 and it comes with Media Center
(MC) bundled in.  At first it would download the TV guide updates without a
problem...but now it won't download them at all.

I've googled all over trying to find a cure and everywhere goes on about
deleting the EPG directory and machine keys...but I don't appear to have them
on my PC, or if they are I can't find them.

I was going to uninstall and re-install MC, in the hope that this sorts out
the directories I need, but I don't appear to be able to do that either.

Also I've been wondering do I need to open any ports on my router to allow
the guide download?  If so which ones?

Any help would be great, because this is driving me mad!

Ta

A lot of people are reporting guide problems lately.   On my machine,
I have to manually download a number of times before it will succeed.
This started out of the blue a few weeks ago. I'm running 2005.

I'm not so sure its on your end.

So just keep trying to download, eventually it will succeed.
