OK, I have read countless entries now and am still none the wiser!

I have Vista Ultimate running on my PC.
I have recently installed a Hauppauge PCI TV card that has DUAL Digital
capabilities, that is to say one is meant to be able to view one digi channel
and record another at the same time.

However, when I am using media Centre and I have a channel on record, if I
try to change the channel I am viewing it says that I am unable to change
channel unless I stop recording. This indicates to me that Media Centre is
only 'seeing' one single digital input.

Any help on how I can utilise both digital sources on the card I would be
most grateful to hear.

Hybrid card thats Digital and Analogue TV I do not think you can get both
Digital and Analogue TV that same time in MCE, with a hybrid tv card.

You're correct. A hybrid card will only work as digital, not analog.
