Seems you can't.  I have an MP3 player in-dash in my car and it would be nice
to be able to burn a CD with 100 songs in MP3 format.  Is this possible?  I
know Nero can do it, but I don't want to have to traverse a zillion folders
to pick my songs.  WMP10 interface would be much preferred.  I can't believe
they don't offer that option.

yes you can... well, i actually just copied the files to a compact
flash.  but it should be the same as going to a CD.

these setting changes were all done in the "BURN" tab of WM10.

anyway, i removed the hierarchy setting, so the files were copied
directly to the flash without any folders created.  the album covers
were still there though, but no big whup.

i then changed the automatic option, so it wouldnt convert the file to
a WMA.  i prefer keeping all my music files to MP3, that way we can
still play them on our IPOD.

i then proceeded to copy the files to the compact flash.

again, it worked for a compact flash.  but in theory, it should work
for any media.

Hmmm... I don't see any options in the Burn tab in WMP10.  There are
Properties and Settings on the little checkmarked box on the right pane, but
that's it.  I can't find ANY Burn settings as you describe.  Can you be more
specific?  Thanks!

hmmm... i guess its different for CDs.  i'll have to try it later on a
CD.  i havent had to burn an MP3 CD for a long time now, so thats why i
never double checked on for CDs.  again, it works great for my compact
flash!
