I am using Vista Media Center and the guide does not list the digital
channels. When I try to add one, I only have the option to add analog
channels. What do I have to change/install to be able to manually add
digital channels?

Where are you located?
What male/model TV tuner card do you have installed?
What is the source of your digital channels?

I have a Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1250 (Model 79xxx, Hybrid ATSC/QAM) tuner card.
The source of the digital channels is Cable and I am located in US. I am
running Vista SP2 and
release 6.0.6002.18103 version of Media Center.

In Vista Media Center you can only configure one tuner of a Hybrid tuner
card since both tuners and not be used concurrently.
Therefore you can configure either the analog tuner or the digital tuner.
Using the Hauppauge WinTV application you can use either tuner.
So I suggest that you configure the tuner you prefer to use in Media Center
and then use WinTV for the other one when you want to use it.
Also Vista Media Center does not support clear QAM digital cable. The WinTV
application does.
When you upgrade to Window 7 your MC configuration problems will be
resolved.

Thank you for the information. I have the Windows 7 upgrade, just haven't
installed it yet.
Thanks again,
Don
