Planning a home network for media distribution and control for new
construction. What is the best setup? --- I was considering a central hub
server running Windows Media Center 2005 with large NAS (network-attached
storage) for storing media. HAI just introduced software for home automation
that integrates with Windows Media Center. I'm thinking about some Media
Extenders and additional PCs running Windows Media Center throughout the
house all connected via ethernet. My goal is to have access to any
media/files/home controls from any TV or computer in the house.
Thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
