Hi,
I've attached an autoloader to an Adaptec SCSI adapter, but when system
reboots and rescans the bus, the it locks up at ID4 (the autoloader). I
disconnected the cable SCSI cable, then went into the SCSI Select utility
(Dell PowerEdge server) and reconnected the cable and suddenly the
autoloader is found when I run a scan in SCSI Select. FYI, I already have an
internal tape drive installed.
I've not had much experience with SCSI so would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks,
J
