These things are delicate and forcing covers can
break off plastic clips etc.

Has anyone succeeded in opening this mouse that
has gone on strike?
If so I'd appreciate the trick.

TIA and have a great weekend  :-)

Looked on the bottom for screws?  They may be hidden by labels or the teflon
skid pads.

Typically there is a screw either under the middle label
sticker, or under the large skid-pad on the rear.  Press on
the sticker with your fingernail to feel for an indentation
where it is, it is usually easier to cut the middle sticker
with a knife rather than peeling the whole thing off, but
you wouldn't want to cut the rear skid-pad.

The front of the mouse is usually just held down by plastic
clips that release when you lift the shell rotating it
towards the front and rocking it back and forth gently.

Curiously the mouse has started to work again - it
must have
been on vacation  :-)  I will try your suggestion
for opening it up.
