On my notebook Asus A6000 series (A6GA) I need to get at the CMOS
battery, in order to replace it since it's running low.
Is there a link offering a dismantle instruction which does make that
battery accessible?
Thanks in advance

General way to start is taking off each panel on the back to
see if it's accessible, maybe hidden under something that
slots in like memory or a wifi card.
If it can't be found behind a rear panel then it is likely
you have to pull the keyboard off by popping a front trim
piece above it, taking out screws, and sliding off ribbon
cables from the motherboard connectors. If the battery is
still not visible under the keyboard then proceed to take
the two halves of the frame apart, by taking out and
labeling all visible screws around it, taking note of what
length screw goes where.
Further disassembly follows the same basic procedure, taking
it further and further apart till you see the battery.
