Hi all ,
This is the problem since I installed fresh copy of windows xp
sp2 .
Everytime at my taskbar the removable disk drive icon is shown .
While I click it it shows all hard drives
c: d: e : f: and DVD drive f: , This problem did not exist with my
previous xp.
It has not given any problem yet , but yet I think that it has
been slowing down my windows loading speed after boot up.
How can I get rid of this problem( I think it is ) ? I googled
it but didn't find any effective solution.
Is that i will have to reinstall the xp , I have tried re insalling
the drivers .

Are the hard drives SATA? Sata is hot swappable technology, so perhaps it
thinks you might like to remove your hard disks while windows is running -
strange thing to do with the system drive, but likely for an eSATA drive.

Yes it is a SATA drive ,
Isn't there any workaround to deal with it .
