AM2 Motherboard with IDE sockets?

  Does anyone know if any of the motherboards for AM2 CPU's have IDE
sockets? My motherboard just died and I have two IDE hard drives and a
IDE DVD drive. I've been out of the hardware market for a while and
things seem to have moved right along. I really need to get data from
my old hard drives and would like to continue using them.

You can get both PCI and PCI Express x1 add-in boards, with PATA
connectors on them. So you can buy any motherboard that has a single
IDE on it, and get additional IDE connectors with cards like this.
Thus would be the "Deluxe" version, in the sense that it has
two ribbon cable connectors on it. There are cheaper cards with
only one ribbon cable connector.

The idea would be, the IDE stuff you want to boot from, would be
connected to the single Southbridge IDE connector. Then, any
additional data drives would go on the add-on card. You can probably
boot from the add-on (it has a boot rom), but I suggest using the
Southbridge port for the most convenient usage.
